BOO!

Meet Jack, the first of three carved creations that will welcome treat-seeking visitors to our door in just a few more nights. Rob and Thayer did an awesome job creating him tonight, since Boo at the Zoo got rained out. (Hopefully we'll still be able to fit that into our plans over the next week!)

Happy carving!

very cute--and I canNOT wait to make that recipe you sent me next week...you reminded me that we need to carve our pumpkin soon, no? Marc deplores the mess, and I'm not much for weilding sharp knives through thick pumpkin skin. Maybe we'll draw on the face this year? what duds.

We're suppose to have our family Halloween party at Diannes on Thursday (nothing like waiting until the last minute, huh?). I love your pumpkin . . . Doug is usually in charge of ours and well, we never know what the crazy man will come up with. Last year it was a pumpkin throwing up pumpkin guts, with fake blood mixed in - great huh?

Thanks for your sweet comments about our dog Beau. He was a member of our family and we really do miss him. Mom (Lora) was fond of him, so it gives us some comfort that maybe he's following her around now.

Great jack-o-latern. We carved ours a little early now they all look like old men because they are caving in.
